&lt;p&gt;The cron jobs use wget to send broadcast emails every one minute.  The issue is the server installs a self-signed certificate which wget (on centos 7)  does not like.  Change the cron settings to:&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;wget --no-check-certificate -O - -q &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;broadcastemail/broadcast_email/&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The other option is to install a real digital certificate.&lt;/p&gt;
