I have located the offending regex on <a href="https://github.com/iNextrix/ASTPP/blob/master/web_interface/astpp/system/helpers/email_helper.php#L40" class="external-link" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">email_helper.php</a> line 40. It also fails to validate several of the <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Email_address#Examples" class="external-link" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">examples of valid email addresses on Wikipedia</a>.</p> ASTPPCOM-122
