 Description

Hi, I'm using the last version of ASTPP. In the UI the time in CDR are unfortunately wrong.
I set the Italian timezone for my user but ASTPP ignore the fact that right now we are in summer time, so the timezone is UTC+2.

How could I solve the problem? Change the timezone in the customer when we enter/exit from summer time, seems a bit weird.

Thanks

If your country time has been changed due to daylight saving then you will
need to change customer timezone manually as in ASTPP, we do not have auto
detection of Daylight saving.

If anyone knows how to manage Daylight saving dynamically then please share
your ideas.

[~smrdoshi] in my projects I'm using Carbon library. Via this library you could set necessary timezone and it will apply DST automatically when it's needed.

Thanks. I will look at that library.

Any plans to fix this?

PHP has a built in class library that can handle this since v5.2.

http://php.net/manual/en/class.datetime.php

There are fairly standard recipes using that library if you do a search.

If you change this, please don't do anything that would prevent the system being set to UTC (or any other UTC offset) and ignoring DST completely.

[~drenda] It will be fix in next release-0003482

Comment by Sandip Dhamecha (Inactive) [ 19/Apr/21 ]

We have developed a Timezone module so the admin can easily change the DST timezone as per need.

Comment by Kinjal Prajapati [ 19/Apr/21 ]

Implemented Timezone module in below MR.

This concern is resolved and will be added in upcoming version release.
