Update: SMTP does function with Gmail as I tested it, but still will not with my own mail server. In addition, the system keeps on spamming Low Balance notifications every hour, sometimes twice an hour. That needs to be fixed. |

This issue is with lack of documentation on YOUR part.
In the file /opt/ASTPP/web_interface/astpp/system/libraries/Email.php {{}} There is a setting around line 41 which needs to be set. {{}} {{}} var $smtp_crypto = " "; // SMTP Encryption. Can be null, tls or ssl. {{}}
In my case, my email server uses STARTTLS, thus I needed to put "tls" as the value.
The Gmail spam issue needs to be looked at. |
