let's say the customer invoice date 24/01/2021.
and he starts a call at 11.55 PM on 23/01/2021 but the call last for 20 mins and finished at 00:15 AM and system runs the cron at 00.05 AM and that time the call was still running. At that moment that record will miss in the invoice billing.
